Editing your Profile

Maatdesk allows you to edit your user profile to, for example, configure your electronic signature, change your password or edit your basic information when necessary. In this guide, you will learn the basic steps to working with your Profile in Maatdesk.

Accessing your Profile

To access your profile:

  • Hover over the User () link on the left side panel.
  • Click the Profile button.

Or you can also:

  • Click the Settings () link on the left side panel.
  • Click on the Profile block.

The Subscription, Job Title, Groups, and Roles fields are elements that identify you and allow you to perform certain actions in Maatdesk, these can only be modified by a user with permission to do so.

The remaining items can be edited as follows:

Uploading or changing your profile picture

This option allows you to add an avatar in Maatdesk to be visually identified.

  • Click the Change button.
  • In the modal shown:
    • Click the Upload image button.
    • Upload your avatar to Maatdesk.

    The requirements to upload an image are:

    • Any image format is supported (.jpg, .png, .svg, .webp, etc).
    • The image to upload cannot exceed 100 MB.
    • There is no image size limit, but it is recommended that it not exceed 215x215px.
  • When uploading the image, you can adjust or enlarge it as you like:
    • To adjust the frame, simply drag the image over it.
    • You can zoom incrementally by 25%.
  • Click the Done button.

If you want to change your avatar, repeat the steps described above, you can also do it after clicking the Remove button.

Editing your personal information

You can modify your personal information at your convenience and at any time, but it is recommended that you do not do so unless it is necessary or if any field is empty.

When doing this, you can pay special attention to the following fields:

  • Time Zone: This field refers to your geographic location.

    Maatdesk uses this value to send you notifications, invitations, or reminders tailored to the time zone you selected.

  • Receive Email Notifications: This option allows you to receive notifications, invitations, or reminders in the email that has been defined for your user.
  • Receive In-App Notifications: This option allows you to view notifications, invitations, or reminders internally at the top of Maatdesk.

Editing your system information

Integrating your email account

To integrate your email account:

With this Maatdesk feature, you can:

  • Integrate almost any email account, so you don’t have to leave Maatdesk to perform common email operations.
  • Associate client emails with specific matters, allowing you better management.
  • Send emails directly to registered Maatdesk clients/contacts.
  • Use the advanced options available in Maatdesk for email management.

Changing your password

To change your password:

  • Click the Change password button, a pop-up window will open.
  • Fill in the fields requested:
    • Enter your current password.
    • Enter the new password.
    • Confirm the new password.
  • Click the Change Password button.
  • Close the pop-up window.

Your new password must meet the minimum security requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 8 characters.
  • Have at least one capital letter.
  • Have numbers and special characters.
  • Do not use personal data such as your first or last name.

Configuring your electronic signature

Configuring an electronic signature allows you and your clients to digitally sign the documents to be shared.

To configure your electronic signature:

  • Click the Configure eSignature button, a pop-up window for DocuSign authentication will open.
  • Follow the steps outlined by DocuSign.
  • Click the Save button when Maatdesk informs you that the process was successful.
